Upgrading the valvesprings did make me think the same thing. These are the numbers I'd expect from a little 224 type cam

No it does not have an aftermarket cam. The reason I changed the valve springs is because they were known to fail in 2002 Z06 cars with my build date.

So now I can rest assure that my factory valve springs will not fail. Also, if I decide to go with a cam in the future these springs will probably suffice.

Car definitely made more than I thought it would. No dyno tricks.
Can't wait to do the blower.
