Default Bolt on C5Z 402whp 376rwtq

I got my corvette back from Slowhawk Performance on Friday. I brought it to them bone stock and had the following installed.

ARH 1 3/4 longtubes
Catless X-Pipe
Stock Ti catback
PAC 1518 valve springs
Callaway Honker cold air intake

Stock the car did 362rwhp 344rwtq. After the mods the car did 402rwhp and 376rwtq. All dyno numbers were performed on Slowhawks Mustang Dyno.

That's a total gain of 40whp and 32wtq. Solid gains for a few bolt ons I think.

Great numbers for the bolt-ons and on a mustang dyno! ARH makes great headers...what made you decide on 1 3/4" versus 1 7/8"? Just curious, either way you're set for heads and cam next!

Nice!!!!....now get you a ported fast intake and a udp and go over 410.....maybe even 415. I picked up 13whp goin to a fast on my bolt-on ls6. #'s in the sig

With a ewp and some 1.8 rockers you could make even more power!

Thanks! I heard the 1 7/8 gives a little more power up top but not as much gains in the low - mid range. I figured 1 3/4 would be enough for a 346ci LS6.

I'll keep that in mind. I might just go with a clutch and A&A blower next though.

I picked up a ton of mid-range when I went from 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 headers.

Got ya. Finished off bolt-ons and the right clutch that thing would run very good. Possibly dip into the 10's......actually it would dip into the 10's.

Nice results man.. if I were you and planning for a blower later I would have went 1 7/8" on the headers. Should be able to trade out without much hassle if need be when the time comes though. Post some pics of the car!

The ARH 1 3/4 headers work very good on Vette's with the design they have. Never a need to switch out unless maybe a stroker motor with blower.

Here are a few pics of the car. I still need to lower it a bit because the factory wheel gap is a bit much.

Sweet ride! There is a 02 EB z06 for sale 3mi from my house that I have been eyeballing. it only has 30k mi...awful tempting as I have always loved EB C5 z06's.

Oh and I would replace that sig pic with the 3rd picture you posted.

Nice gains, enjoy the car while we've still got the good weather left.

Great numbers and my favorite color for a C5Z. If you get the A&A get upgrade to the t-trim head unti from the get go.

That thing must be a factory freak

I have 241 heads but even with a cam I'm not making that power on the same dyno.

Congrats

That is what I was planning on. That way I have room to grow if I ever forge the motor.

Yeah it definitely laid down some good numbers on Slowhawks dyno. Much better than the average bolt on C5Z it seems. I'll take it to the track this fall to see if I can back up the dyno #s with a timeslip.
