Dyno Tuning 2014 Chevy SS TVS 2300!
We were excited to be contacted for the tuning of a new 2014 SS - a lot of people aren't even aware of these yet. I think of it as Chevy's G8...it's a super nice four door sedan, with an LS3 and a six speed auto. The interior on this thing is gorgeous!
The only modification to this one is a TVS 2300 supercharger kit. We're running a contest on our Facebook right now to guess the power if you want to get in on it - we'll post dyno sheet and results tomorrow but here's a video for now!

I've seen these online only. Very expensive IMO. I don't know how someone can justify one. Maybe when they throw in a LT1. The cost of these cars are getting out of hand.

For the price its actually a bargain compared to the other performance sedans around... I agree with you the overall cost on cars seem ridiculous. But, for what you get with the SS i think its worth the money.

from what I have read, they made this car to use up what was left of the G8 platform with updated sheetmetal and underpinnings, hence the LS3 and not the LT1. They also planned to run this car as a limited production vehicle of a year or so and would test out the sales/desire for a rear drive performance car in the US. You can only get this car, this year in one trim and I believe the only thing that changes the price on the car is the type of paint you order. It's Base price and as tested price are the same in the 2 magazines I have read on it, and have seen times of 12.9-13.3 in the quarter, both with 109mph trap speeds, so the car is fairly quick. It's positioned against the 5 series beemer I believe,so the price you pay to get a car that is highly competitive against that car is fairly realistic, however, I would definitely wait a year and see the new performance it comes with the new motor and with different options (v6, cloth, etc etc).

The price is up there BUT wait until you sit in one.
OMG! Gorgeous is an understatement. Our local dealer had one in white, and now they have a red one.
I saw a white one on the road and if you don't know what you're looking at you'll swear its a weird looking mazda 3 from the rear! (the taillights!)
I just wished it came with the LT1 and a manual. It might eventually have the option but right now GM is only "building them according to demand." They're very rare.
