Don't no if this is the right section but has anyone dropped 400lbs off your vehicle and see what was the et and mph difference

Typically 1 mph = 10 hp = 100 lbs

And yes I cut 300 lbs out of my fox Mustang circa 1998 and I picked up 3 mph.

Decrease in ET can't be estimated well because there are too many other factors with chassis setup and gearing.

When you get into really fast trap speeds (150 mph +), the rule of thumb no longer holds.
