Default 408 build. please critique... New numbers 782rwhp 608rwtq, 300rwhp on a 200 shot

Ok guys I really need you to critique my build. I'm curious to what kind of power you guys think I'll make. Here it is...

Tsp 408 w/
Texas speed forged h-beam 6.125 rod
Texas speed forged 4" crankshaft
Weisco -3cc pistons with top steel ring... (nitrous use)Wrist pin upgrade .
Arp 1/2 head studs...
Arp main studs...
Prc 247cc heads 66cc...
Texas giant camshaft (248/254 114lsa)...
Mls head gaskets...
Blue demon 3 fuel injector (48lbhr)
Stock ls6 intake, throttle body, and maf...
Nitrous Express 2pc. Maf kit spraying a 200 shot.

I should be around 11.5-11.6 compression...

As far as the transmission I'm building a th400 with a quality stall... (ptc, Yank, circle d)

The rear axle is a Strange S60 with 3.54 gear....

Thanks in advance guys.

I'd say closer to 490-500 , the ls6 intake / tb will be hurting your power , car should still be strong non the less and it will give u some room to grow.

I'd strongly consider running a ported Fast intake on that setup. That LS6 will be a weak link with that build

yea in the near future i will be upgrading intakes to a fast 102... im currently running pacesetter 1 3/4 headers and a ported pacesetter y-pipe... I figure ill get all i can out of the ls6 intake and later down the road upgrading to a 102 with a direct port nitrous system...

Oh wow very cool! I have a Pacesetter ORY as well, and hated that crappy merge too, but I just bought a Flowmaster merge and had it spliced in.

I know, it really helped with the rasp on mine as well. I used to run a LM1 as well (before the FM merge) so you can imagine how bad the rasp was lol

That's really cool that you did that! Never seen anyone try that before

Yeah that DA is a bitch for sure lol. I bet that 408 n/a will be every bit as equal to the 150 shot you had on the LS1. On a 200 shot I don't know man, buts it gonna fly that's for sure lol

For shure Z06 intake tb & meter choking you at LEAST 25 probably
35 possibly more HP. YOU HAVE 61+ CI ( a whole litre!) of displacement
+ Big Heads & Big Cam being CHOKED! vs even a FAST 92,
you could use the 102.
I can relate to spending more on Engine that on car. LOL
Bought my 99 C5 for $14.5K, My Engine build will be well beyond $15K!

Ditch the ls6 , pick up a fast 102 setup , port it, ditch the 1 3/4 headers and invest in a nice 1 7/8 setup , and definently weld in a 3-4" FM merge ... Just one thing at a time dude, maybe even a EWP would unleash a little extra hp

I'm running prc 247 on my 408. mine are 60 cc sense i have -12cc pistons witch gave me 11.6 for compression. I have the older fast 90/90 setup and 1 3/4 headers still both i plan on changing soon. I dynoed 510hp and 480 tq threw m6 dana s60 w 4.1. I also have tsp dual exhaust. my cam is 243/251 i was recommended more of a split with the larger intake runner.

Quick Reply: 408 build. please critique... New numbers 782rwhp 608rwtq, 300rwhp on a 200 shot
