Very bad ***!

Chris did a set of those cylinder head a couple of years back for my 416, our flow numbers are nearly a copy. I had -10cc pistons due a cylinder head screw up after the fuses were ordered. Chris welded the chambers machined & hand finished to 58cc, the guy is a wizard.

It's a very explosive accelerating motor, I'm sure you are very pleased as well.

I really like how you set up the valve train & how neatly it sits under the covers. I went with HS rollers as the previous YT's had roller failures, I had to space the covers.

I'm jealous of the Vac pump.......I want to use my AC

Thanks, yours was one of the builds that caught my eye. After having Chris speak with my engine builder it was evident FRH would be a good fit for my build. Then just a matter of exploiting all areas for HP...including vacuum pump! My biggest limiting factors IMO are 4.030 bore, plastic intake & 93 octane

The engine def sings from 5k+...kind of hard to mask after racing a few ppl.

No track times yet but been holding my own on motor vs. some solid mid/low 10 sec cars. I need to buy new seatbelts and will hit the track in Sept.

Awesome #s & build! Just dynoed my 416 & my #s are considerably less but I also have a lot less $$$ invested. New parts but mine was definitely a budget build with a lot of stock parts. Your selection of parts reflects all the little things that make up that difference! You got one well built nasty 408 & a super clean ride! Anything special you did to fit them 28s in there?

Thanks. Best part of this build was selling $7k in old parts to fund the new ones!

28's you say?
Bump Stops - Gone
Fully adjustable BMR LCA's & all susp (center wheel in wheel well)
Rolled fender lips
and BFH on inside (in front of rear tire)
I also have the Spohn rear coil over kit to adjust ride height

I did the same, sold my old topend & stuff got me $3.5k to work with. Going for the stock sleeper look underhood. I'm a lil short of where I expected to be(500whp) but a set of TDs will get me there. Your exhaust setup is sooo huge it's real close to TDs!

Running 26.5 ET Drags now but like how those 28s look perfect on yours. Its the BFH mod I'm not looking forward to & my car is lowered so don't know how that'll work.

Thread bump
4l80 swap complete...I think she'll be a bit more consistent vs. the old T56. What do you think?

It's a common road we use but all we had that night was water (for the burnout)
