Default EPS or Futral? Torn between tuners close to New Orleans. Help?

Hello, all! Picked up full kooks exhaust for a killer deal and my mufflers are going to be ~2 weeks. So, time to tune! But who should I trust my baby with?

This forum has mentioned nothing but good things about Geoff at EPS in Baton Rouge. But is Futral Motorsports in Walker, LA more worth it for some reason? Further dilemma being they are the exact same drive time.

Who has the edge in dyno tuning a stock LS2 after throwing some long tubes on there? What was your experience/horsepower gain? Who builds the better, more approachable customer relationship? Competitive prices?

Help a brother out? Thanks for the read.

your are gonna get good reviews from both of them. my friend got his TA tuned at EPS. i have been to futral for a dyno day thing and it was impressive. both are great shops. might be a shorter wait EPS. have you tried RPM performance in kenner?

Thanks for the reply. And I live in Kenner to be exact. I've talked to a guy at the lake front with a nitrous C5 done by RPM. Was at about 800hp on spray. but have also heard a lot of bumps in the road with builds by them also via a neighbor with an ls7 swapped '01 mustang (lol). I'm sure they do solid work also, but I'm willing to drive farther for a shop that has largely consistent reviews and seems to get mentioned very often among the forum veterans

No dilemma here. Go with Futral hands down.

No experience with Geoff tuning. But ordered a cam from him and was great to deal with. Was on the phone for 30 minutes just BS with him. Cam worked great and made the power and he always helped if needed.

Never really dealt with Futral, but I had my car tuned my Geoff and he was a pleasure to deal with. Car was tuned within a week after contacting him, and he even came in on a Saturday to do it.

I'll most definitely be getting my cam from him in the future.

Hmmmm. This forum is really for dyno comparisons and results and not for tuner comparisons. There are too many variables in setups to say one is better than the other. They are both competent tuners and have delivered fast cars to their customers.
