I did not drive at Mojave.
Engine is in car and runs great above 3500 RPM @ WOT.
Below that in 1st,2nd,3rd gears UNDRIVEABLE! needs major
Tuning Re-work (to start next week).
LOL!

I did go to The Magnum with my friend who ran his stock
2009 ZR1 Saturday, his First (and only) Pass lifted @ 190
(Limited to 190 class because of tires, Y without ( ) as
Opposed to 220 MPH with, Very good conditions for
Second run 60* No Wind was going to run all out I
Believe it would have run at least 197+ maybe 200?
But ~ 5 entrants ahead a motorcyclist went through
Traps @ 200+ never appeared to lift went through
.8 slowdown area through dirt, hit berm, & flew through
2 fences and ended up on Hy 58.
All racing stopped for 2 hours till the remainder of the
Day Cancelled. We had only planned Saturday and left
For Home @ 12:30.

A very Sobering & Tragic Situation.



A Motorcycle Rider did hit 261 MPH in 1 Mile!

Tragic is right, that puts such a negative to the experience of the whole thing.

Sounds like the motorcycle rider got disoriented..... sad to hear!

It doesn't just take ***** to go 200mph+..... it take some common sense and caution!

Hopefully you get to run the car next time!
