Mac mids, ORY, Flowmaster. Vs. SE LTd and TSP new cat back
Well I have a dyno tune scheduled for this Thursday the 13th of April to see how much I actually gained by switching from Mac mids an ORY, and a Flowmaster cat back. To Speed Engineerings LT, ORY, and Texas Speeds new cat back. I have heard how bad the flowmaster is so I guess well know soon enough. The old set up got me 391hp and 391 tq. I will post dyno sheets asap!

The headers were awesome. They both slid right in without having to remove anything. I also did poly motor mounts at the same time, and even with them installed first, they still went in without having to jack the motor or remove the steering shaft.
The quality of the headers themselves was excellent. All the welds look great and the primaries were centered in the flanges, along with a nice velocity spike in the collector. You can't beat these for this price.

Well I'm back from the dyno.... Mind you same dyno same outside temp. The only thing different was the headers and cat back. Well I LOST 20ft lbs. And 5 hp. With the new set up. My tuner was baffled! The only thing he could think was a very poorly designed header. So I am putting the Mac mids back on and am going to go back sometime next week and see what happens.

The only thing I see ( in pictures) with those headers are the driver side, # 7 drops straight down and into the collector. But even being a bit shorter than the rest I can't see it being worse.
How does the TSP cat back look, can you see through it or is it baffled? Maybe that is the real issue ...? Hard to say without some more testing.
