Default My ported top end on a 17' 1LE. 539/505rw

Here is what my STG 1 cam, ported heads, ported Stock IM/TB, headers and E85 did. Base line is stock. We were only on 58% E at the time and 23* total timing. I ported this stuff, specd the cam and sent it out for install and tuning. I spent a lot of time on the phone with IMC to get it all as right as we could. I am happy with the results.

Did you hit a wall with the intake? Power curve is a table top from 6k until you let it up. When mine did that same thing it needed a bigger intake with shorter runners.

No, I don't think so. A ported MSD could change the curve but this motor was all about TQ and coming out of corners since it is a 1LE. We ran into a timing wall since I got a little to much compression into it. On pump gas it didn't plateau like that. I am going to take a little compression out of the next one and run more timing. I am curious to see what this car does on a higher E content and they are changing out the rest of the exhaust.
