402 s483 14 psi 860whp
Just tuned a customer's truck and was pretty pleased with the results.
402, stock 243 heads, hi ram, s483 turbo, 14 psi, 16 degrees of timing. Dyno'd with ET pros little bit aired out, laid down 800 whp with 10 degrees of timing and .78 lambda at 14#, leaned it out to .81 lambda picked up about 20 whp. Added 2 degrees at a time til i landed at 16-17. Gained 60whp on the same boost level, and sent it on its way. On E85, twin pumps, and 210s, the duty cycle is right at 50% at 6800ish rpm..this was through an unlocked Circle D converter, 258mm 2b. Truck built by Precision Race Development out of pasadena, tx.
Chris nailed the converter, 6% slip.
