Not sure what ECU he is using but according to HP tuners the LS3 ECU in the C6 can target up to 8192 RPM.

I think the fbody 411 LS goes to 8k. Gen2 LT1 is 7200 (and only 6955 for the 92-94) .

I've read the gen 3 LS1 ECU is hard coded to 12,800 rpm, but tables cannot be changed past 8000rpm, so you end up using the 8k table until the hard code stops you.

Everyone is all over the place on how high the 411 ECU can go. Seems to be confusion because the actual rev limiter table is over 12k

Yes, that is true. However there seems to be conflicting stories on where the hard code actually is. The rev limiter is 12,800, but the drivetrain abuse maximum is 8000.

Thanks man! I mostly tuned it myself this time with some help from earth. He’s a good teacher. Lots of patience!

Nice build. Wonder if the 411 pcm works at anything over 8k if you set your drivetrain abuse speed to 1 ..

I disagree. Not to mention you can disable it via speed threshold. I've seen no table in EFI Live that says you can't rev above 8k on a gen 3 pcm....the only caveat is that you will be restricted to the 8k RPM row/column for fueling and spark. But if you're trying to shift right at 8k it shouldn't matter anyways.

There’s really not much to port. The base matches the heads really well and the CSA of the runner gets so big so fast I’m not sure it’s even necessary.
