Decided to tune a sloppy build today. By sloppy, I mean it had those 250$ snake eater injectors lol. They work surprisingly well! Gen 3 5.3 stock truck 3 bolt intake, stock heads, and of course stock bottom end. E85, LJMS stage 2 cam, and 23 psi laid down 933 rwhp and 757 lb-ft of torque. The turbo is a cast s480 T6 with a broken housing! I didn't think it was going to make that much power after seeing the broken exhaust housing. 256kpa, lambda was .78, and 18* of timing at peak power. Heres a video :
Any other experiences with these injectors? I've been considering a set, but worried about them being like the cheapie Deka 80s that split in half at 80 PSI of fuel pressure. I don't feel like burning to death in a vette kart when I'm covered in fuel.
