5.3 s475 731rwhp 16lbs
Update: Ended up making 780 rwhp before running out of turbo. Really happy with how it turned out
It made 780 rwhp on about 19lbs before running out of turbo
Truck was tuned a couple of days ago and I wanted to post my results.
Mods:
Forged 5.3
s475 83 1.10 T6
TFS220 Heads
LJMS Stage 2 Cam
TBSS Intake
E85 and Meth
4l80
Build was completed by Lucas Performance and tuned by Bluecat. Engine was assembled by Croppers Racing Engines.
I’m really happy with the results! The truck drives really well with the cam and it’s definitely making good power for only being a 5.3. This dyno run was on only 16lbs and we had to stop here due to running out fuel from the two walbro 255s.

We actually put it back on the dyno yesterday. We ended up making 780 on 19lbs of boost. We tried to make more but the turbo was just running out of steam and wasn’t wanting to make anymore power. I’m really happy with how it turned out though.

I would have though that T6 75mm on 5.3 wouldn't be done at 19psi 780rwhp?
by out of turbo do you mean adding wastegate DC isn't increasing boost, or increasing the boost isn't adding power?
what size is the off side manifold, crossover pipe and manifold diameter?
what gate spring?

Cast wheel can do probably 900 to the tire on a 5.3 with a 6-speed with the 83 turbine. Through a 4L80 it's eating it up somewhat. Converters on a 4L80 are usually tighter than TH400s/PGs and eat up more power too.
I would have thought you'd get into boost a little sooner though. That looks like a 96/1.32 dyno without the extra oomph uptop.
