Early (204/211, .525/.525, 116LSA) or late (204/218, .551/.547, 116LSA) ? Guessing late, as well as it runs....

You clown. Mixing numbers from different dynos & using STD numbers to make yourself look better. Full interior and a/c with no air bags & hole sawed to ****. Keep telling people to make 500rwhp with a stock ls6.

never said it made 500whp. Do you have a issue with reading?

yea they were 2 different dynos.....coulda said numbers from all the different dynos it has been on i suppose. What's the big deal? I have some sae numbers to......really not that much different. Not enough for you to chase me around tech like a school girl. Would it make you feel better to hear a lower dyno number while it still runs the same time/mph?

i can post a pic and you can point to the holes if you like. But i have did some hole reduction. You should be happy.....not that this thread has anything to do with holes or you.

Is a 416 6.0 based? What's an approx cost to build or buy a 416 short block?

N/a would cost too much money to make 500 on a ls1. Bigger cubes are needed, high rpm range and drivetrain to match. Hell you can take a junkyard 5.3 and turbo it and make 700+ hp at 1/2 the price of building a race engine, thats what i would do.

416ci is LS3 6.2 block based. 5500 dollars or so will get you one. Anything over 402 cubes 500 rwhp will be a breeze and easy to accomplish.

when you find a combo that puts out the same horsepower and torque number.... it's cammed correctly.

That's a good observation Tusky! I noticed looking back on other combos where that happened, it seemed a well-balanced combination.
