I have cast 5364, L92 heads so i sent them to the cylinder head shop. Had them reconditioned, plunge cut, 3 angle valve job, hand blending into the bowls with larger Pep Pro stainless valves fitted. They flowed 350cfm @ .600 lift on the intake. camshaft specs are 228/238, 0.600/0.603 lift 113 lsa Upgrades done include pac 1219 springs, factory rockers with VCM trunnion upgrade, VCM pushrods, clevite lifters, powerbond 25% UD harmonic balancer, 1 7/8" 4 into 1 tuned length headers, twin 3 inch exhaust, Asa fuel rails, VCM over radiator intake. Will need to touch up the tune as not to run it lean but all is running great. (6l80e trans and 3.7 diff gears) Also fitted new water pump, new bolts, new gaskets, etc painted coils and intake manifold Dyoned 410rwhp with cam so will see what difference the heads make. |
the factory 6.0 and 6.3 square port heads generally flow quite well stock. exhaust flow improvements yield better results than modifying the intake side. 400rwhp through auto isn't bad at all. that's a decent cam for a stock converter, are you going to fit a high stall? |
Are the intake valves hollow stem? |
I like that color. Just out of curiosity, why do so many Australian cars sit lower in the back than the front? |

The valves are Pep-Pro elite series stainless http://www.pepproracevalves.com.au/i...ite_header.jpgThe “Elite” valve range is race specific, designed and manufactured to withstand the extreme operating temperatures and stresses in full race applications. These Elite Series valves evolved from extensive research and development in the USA Cart Series. They are aimed directly at the serious engine builder who is prepared to pay a little more for these race tested valves. |
Car runs 6l80e trans with 3000rpm hi stall converter. 3.7 diff gears (lsd). dyno tune is on Tuesday so will post results https://youtu.be/d2NWqokgs7I |

Looking at the pic, it looks like the car is parked on a bit of an upslope. The gap between rocker and ground looks pretty even to me |
