I have been toying with the idea of getting a VS racing 80mm, how do you like it?

I'm a big fan of the china copies. Of course nothing outperforms the OG stuff. but for the price, I love em. Make sure to get a big back wheel.

Thanks for the feedback on the turbo

Here is what I am in the process of building.

5.3 iron block (taking to machine shop soon), callies compstar rods, wiseco pistons, 9.5 CR (still to be determined), LJMS stage 2 turbo cam, PRC Stage 2.5 5.3 heads, ARP head and main studs, LS9 head gaskets, LS6 intake, stock TB, comp cams trunion kit, F-body oil pan, treadstone intercooler, #210 bosch injectors, magna fuel 4303, E85, -10 AN feed and -8 AN return., 4L80E trans, TCI flexplate, ATI balancer, 3:27 gears in a fox body mustang.

I was thinking either BWS480 or VS 80mm..

Not sure on ECU setup yet (stock with HPtuners) or MS gold box

Was hoping for 800-1000 RWHP in a fun street car..

Any advice on my plans?

I think you have a 1000hp recipe. Just make sure to take care of the small details.

I just ordered a VS racing 80 mm, T6 96x88 turbine wheel

Nice work! Did you add thicker head gaskets?
Was that a home swapped 80e conversion or did you find a kit?

The tbss 80e swap is pretty easy. Just like doing a swap into anything else. I swapped a 80e in my tbss. Been doing fine for 2 yrs.
