you think? I just thought they were ok I guess. I have a stage two but it’s not setting the world in fire. I’d rather a Texas speed cam to be honest.

I gained 3 MPH going from a stock ported TB LS6 to a 102 NW TB,100MAF,Ported Mamo 102 with a small cam with a bigger lid. Don't worry about dyno numbers. Go run the car.

Too many people posting up with under performing setups compared to some of the other brands out there. Texas Speed does have some nice stuff too.

this motor doesn't need a fast 102/102 and defiantly doesn't need a 102 maf.. A ls6 or fast 92 intake/tb 92 is plenty. Change cam and injectors (if needed) that match the head flow and gearing/trans of vehicle and it will make better power, bigger is not always better.

Is this based on fact or podcasts again? There are gains to be had on a 346. Whether or not the gain is worth the $$ is a different conversation and is a personal choice.

Very False information here.. My H/C LS1 Gained 14 hp and 12 Ft lbs going from a Ported 92/92 to a stock 102/102 setup. Same dyno, same day. Back to back pulls. and my Friend just went from a 92/92 to an MSD atomic on his cam only ls1 and gained 8 hp and 9 ft lbs.

They normally are using an old grind they bought used etc. Or usually get the wrong cam for their combo. I see people all the time trying to compare them when all tsp lobes are .550/.600/.615/.629/.649 and they come at me with a .568 or .588 etc...that's an older cam and you can make a real comparison to them.

Tsp has been grinding their own cams on their own lobes for the past 3 years and dynoing them on their in house engine dyno to make sure their on shelf cams are the best design period. They are also powering the fastest NA nad boosted setups out there without having to offer more than 1 core.
Too many people want a cam for sound or want a max effort cam when they arent willing to put for the rest of the "max effort" or dont want to spend the money.
Lingenfelter was known for saying something about that too.

Their cnc grinders are the best and newest in the business bar none.

There is a reason we tapped TSP to grind our signature cams. Those are a few.

this pretty much drives me nuts I've gotten hate on here for telling people to cam smaller and not overdo it and then when the OP takes the advice they come back super happy they didn't go bigger for their 99% street car.

so you spent how much $$ for 14hp? And you need to drive the car around for awhile, then dyno it again, when the adaptives update your gains will probably be none. Put 2-300 miles on it and dyno again. I see the same crap with cold air kits, customer does a pull, then install CAI does pull, wow 10hp!! after a week redyno and HP/TQ is maybe 3-4 hp up after adaptives updated. It's all math, your cylinder head is only going to flow what the throat/valve will allow, period. If you gained more power it was due to the fact your heads wanted more intake flow, what does your midrange TQ curve look like after intake was swapped, did midrange drop? but I seriously doubt a street / strip car with LS1 CID would require a 102/102 unless your running a quality aftermarket heads and aggressive cam, and even then the cost to HP that a 92/92 vs 102/102 doesnt make sense, save the extra money for the 102/102 and buy other parts that make a bigger difference.

Exactly why I don't play the big cam game anymore. Everyone learns somehow. Internet numbers and track times are like chasing a rainbow unless you use the same track and dyno.

hope you get it sorted out regardless. Definitely don't want your car to disappoint you. I feel your pain.

As already said, it's not your call on whether or not the $$/hp is worth the gain, but there have been multiple people who've done back to back testing proving the gains. You obviously didn't read the links because there was an across the board gain with the 102mm including midrange. Not to mention if you are starting out with a 90/92 setup, you sell that to recoup a large portion of your investment.

And you don't lose power driving the car around if its tuned right. The MAF/VE/spark should be dialed in when you put the new equipment on so fuel trims dont suddenly cause you to lose power unless your tuning is garbage.

I spent $100. a Whole $100! Plus I had the 102 setup to put on my 416ci when I finished it...

Fast 92's and 102's are the same cost.... Your logic so so off, its hilarious!
