It would have been better if a tune was done after each install to lock in a consistant AFR for all three cams. Also one cam might like more timing than another. I agree with the too many vaiables. However it is still and interesting read.

tuning was done after each install. the a/f is a little more rich on the 224 because it was dyno'd/tuned in cooler weather with anticipation of the warmer month's to come, so that I wouldn't run too lean. There was no knock on any of the runs.

No track #'s yet. I am too afraid to beat up on this stock 10 bolt! I ported the TB myself.
How is the spring swap going? I know it has to be alot easier with the tool I loaned you!

Yes, it made it much easier I'm sure. Not that I've ever done it before, but I'd do it again. Love the TDC method. Bring it to Fayetteville!!! I do and mine's got a pos 10 bolt with 4.10's. You'd love that place. What did you notice with your Harlan rockers? Thanks big time for that tool. I really appreciate it.
