Thumbs up AS Stage 2 5.3's & TR 224 Cam Dyno Results

02ws6ssicks post:

Absolute speed Heads
Thunder racing Cam
Rapid Motorsports Tuning

All of these sponsors RULE!!!!

Made the trip to the dyno so mikey could work his tuning magic. He was able to squeak out all the car would give.

Peak hp 432 HP
peak TQ 410

I am very pleased. Not bad at all for a baby cam. Great drive down, and back. The car is very responsive, with great street manners. BIG thanks again to mikey from rapid for taking care of me. He went above and beyond with his service.

I will try to post a graph soon!

Awesome! Mikey reallys knows what he's doing. He's done 3 full tunes for me and went above and beyond his service every time including helping me to find a vaccum leak behind the motor. Throw out some more specs on the car and a graph.

Must know, is that through cats or offroad pipe? I have the same set up but I am through a full exhaust with cats.

Great numbers!! And I love that torque!!

Great numbers, are those with the true duals? Last year I had a TR 224 cam, AS STG 2 241 heads, Jet Hot LT lid cut out and I only made 412hp & 396 tq.

What was your A/F and timing?

It almost sounds too good to be true with that cam... I'm jealous.......

Thanks guys, these numbers are from my car (see sig). Needless to say I am very pleased with the results. This combination works very well. I'll try to post the graph in the near future, and get some track times posted

Great numbers with a TR224 cam and Absolute heads. Those heads are outflowing that TR224 meaning if down the road you go with a bigger cam you can expect big gains.Enjoy your new set up.

Yea that's awesome! I wish my torque curve looked that nice. Mine has a flat spot from 3500-4200rpms where it only increases 5-6ft lbs. Whether this is due to the cats or the fact my PP heads are crap is up in the air. This has been noted by a few people now about the PP 5.3s.

Same thing with my tq curve. I was told it was due to the cats. Now I belive its true since you have the same flat spot.
