Been to Houston lately??? ;)

I'm probably moving there at the end of the year, and yes, if you get pulled over and a cop is smart enough to take a look under your car you CAN get a ticket for having no cats in TX...

i have the same header/cats.. looks like i guessed right on the 20hp.. how did yours fit? my headers fit great, y-pipe and emissions stuff didn't..
great #'s btw..

hmmmmm, i had zero problems gettin any of my stuff in??? I had to expand the Y-merge a little to fit over a borla cat-back, but other than that, they were a cinch! Hung a little low at first, got back under it and jacked up they Y, re-tightened everything, and they're almost stock clearance! :)

where did you get the headers from, what kind of price? Thanks

got em from a GP on here at Speed Inc... was a great price, 1140 shipped, comes with all the 02 extensions and everything!

For those who don't know, these are just the full stainless version of the FLPs, stainless cats and Y and all! They don't have an offroad setup but i still picked up 21 horses on cats so definitely a great setup! I think they retail for about the same price as the coated FLPs

How much tuning had to be done to get the headers to see peak performance? Do you have any before tuning numbers? I just wanna see what tuning added...

I actually did a street tune with wideband with a local shop that's still trying to get going around here. The tune was pretty accurate, we logged a few WOT runs on the highway, pulled over ONCE, and made adjustments. Shortly afterwards, ran to 13.1 for most of the way through, with 30 degrees of timing. The tune was pretty good considering what I pulled on the dyno. It looks like i get a tad lean on top, but that's not a bad thing since I wasn't knocking any.

I guess I could sit there and tune out the whole graph to 13.1 but i don't think that's such a big deal. The street tune is what makes more sense to me considering that when you're running on the street you're car sees much more different conditions then that of a dyno. :)

BTW, the previous dyno run was completely tuned out (for the above listed mods) to 12.8-12.9, same advance...
