Default FMS NA 346 507rwhp!!!!!! TH400, 12 bolt, 28Ws!!!!!!

I couldnt be happier right now!!!!!!!!!! I made the trip down to Futral Motorsports this weekend to get my lil 346 dialed in by Allan. I was expecting an honest 450rwhp out of this setup with my drivetrain..... Damn was I surprised!!!!

Engine is FMS 346, solid cam, LS6 heads, C12 fuel.

Drivetrain consists of Th400 w/ TCI 6200 8" converter, steel driveshaft, Strange 12 bolt w/ 4:88 gears, and MT 28x10.50x15Ws .

Engine spins to 8000rpm and makes power all the way to redliine!!!

507rwhp/414rwtq

Torque #s are a bit low due to the converter coming in so late. Still impressive to say the least!!!!

I have to think this is some kind of 346 NA record. I know Allan was making mid 500s in his car a while back, but that was through a Pro shifted 6spd...

Thanx again to FMS!!!! Those guys never seem to know the limit!!!!!!!! Using a 20% drivetrain loss which would seem about right with this drivetrain this lil stock cube engine is making 608 horsepower!!!!!

Heres a link to the graph .... Click on FMS 346 dyno.

FMS engines usually dyno about 50 RWHP more than all the other dyno's, so you're right at the 450 RWHP you were hoping for.

j/k nice numbers

Congrats on the power. You are really hauling the mail that's for sure. I'm a little perplexed about your correction factor though. In 60 degree weather, with 36% humidity at low alititude, most dynos will pull power away in their SAE correction (to the tune of .96-.97), but your's added to the output (1.01 correction). Maybe it's the whacked out 28.74 barometer reading that did it...must have gotten stuck when the last hurricane rolled through, LOL. Regardless, you motor is SICK and major props go out to you, FMS and whoever else was involved.

Thanx guys!!! I am quite impressed to say the least.

Patrick, Not sure on the correction factor, but I strapped the car down at the shop this morning to back up the #s made @ FMS. They were within 5 horsepower......

Allan, thanx for the kickass motor.... This thing sings to you @ 8k

BTW, the heads are Stage III Meaux/FMS Racing LS6 heads....

LOL!!! That is funny. I dyno'd within 10rwhp of my dyno at FMS on pump gas in Florida. At FMS we had a little 104 octane mixed in with my 93 octane.
