Dyno'd 00 ls1 Z28

I had my car dyno'd this last Sunday. Mods are on my sig. 339.94 rwhp and 347.4 ft/lt torque. Car still had some in her I think, but she hadn't warmed up yet. We had a dyno day at our local speed shop and we all had two pulls. Is this pretty good for my mods? I might get a dyno tune here pretty quick as it is running lean. Let me know what you guys think. I do plan to change that intake soon, too. Soon as I can score a good deal on one. Thanks guys. I would appreciate your input.

Nice #s for a bolt on car, need to change the TQ #s in your sig they say 247, should be 347, just thought I'd let you know.

I'd say those are great #'s

TroubledWine3 Mar 4, 2006 10:15 AM

Damn fine numbers, I made about what you did on my 98 with similar bolt-ons.

Medic/Z28 Mar 4, 2006 11:57 AM

Thanks guys. What do you all think I'll put down with the LS6 intake and a tune?

prostock_bigblock Mar 4, 2006 01:07 PM

355rwhp, my guess!

Wicked_Hugger99 Mar 4, 2006 01:39 PM

very stout un-tuned. yea, id say 350-355rwhp w/ ls6 intake and tune. Didnt see ported TB or UD pulley in ur mod list, do you have those? If not then get em as they are good mods esp. if you plan on more stuff in the future like cam, H/C, etc etc

Medic/Z28 Mar 4, 2006 02:17 PM

Nope, no ported TB or UD pulley. Which pulley would you recommend? How can I port my TB or are they sold that way.

RedLT4Mike Mar 4, 2006 03:00 PM

Your car was a freak at dyno day!

The 2nd pull was up from the first, and I do think
that another pull would have resulted in a slightly
higher #. Your car was indeed still cold.

Get that LS6 intake and a few more mods,
and I think you will drop some jaws at the
next Lethal Performance dyno day!

prostock_bigblock Mar 4, 2006 03:46 PM

go march pulley and port your own TB , sure with a tune.

u ill be looking at 370 rwhp max .

Medic/Z28 Mar 4, 2006 05:54 PM

Thanks Mike!

TroubledWine3 Mar 4, 2006 06:04 PM

I'm hoping with an LS6 intake, ported TB, and UD pulley I'll be between 355-365 on my current tune...if I had enough money to get a retune, I would, but it won't get tuned again until I get a cam or find someone with 98 HP Tuners around here.

Medic/Z28 Mar 4, 2006 06:40 PM

Thanks guys for all your posts.

davered00ss Mar 4, 2006 06:42 PM

Great #'s for your mods. :)

Wicked_Hugger99 Mar 4, 2006 09:57 PM

You definately got a factory freak making those numbers so yea you got alot left in it as soon as you get that LS6 intake, ud pulley, ported TB, and full dyno tune. Id say 360+rwhp w/ that beast!!!
Updated us when you do all that stuff

blkbird Mar 8, 2006 08:59 PM

Was wondering when you were going to post up your numbers.... :)

cantdrv65 Mar 9, 2006 12:50 AM

Very stout numbers. You will also gain some with the intake and tuning, Id say 350-355 rwhp! Congrats!

prostock_bigblock Mar 9, 2006 03:20 AM

wana the way to go ?

get rid of the flowmaster and get u something else , add a ls6 intake and port your Tb, march pulley , and get your self a good tune rather than the hypertech.

I would say 370rwhp is acheivable .

good luck

Medic/Z28 Mar 9, 2006 03:29 PM

I'm really surprised at the results with my few modest mods. Thanks guys!
