Factory ratings mean nothing and are proven to be off. The 04 GTO's factory rating's are much closer than the f-body's. The LS1 f-body's might only be rated at 305, but actually are more like 350 flywheel hp.

That seems more like what I was thinking about. I felt that the F-body cars had a little more than GM said.

Um, the cam is the same one that is in every LS1 from '01-'04.

To the original poster, I'm asking 22K or take over my smartbuy payments (PM me for details). I'm only selling to free up some cash to buy a new GSX-R1000. Like i said, PM me if you want any more details.

Yep. Checked it last year on a cam doctor and its just your normal 01-02 F-Body cam. No difference.

That really makes alot of since then. If they have the same cam then I am sure that the F-bofy cars are really more like 350 than the 305 like they said.

Most 05 LS1 Monaro's make about 195-200RWKW on a Dyno Dynamics. My understanding is that US figures are about 10% higher and usually on Dynojet. 200RWKW is about 268RWHP - 295RWHP including 10% adjustment.
My car made 197RWKW stock and now makes 244RWKW - Mods are Shorty 4>1 Headers, Opened Cats, 2.5" Catback (All stainless), Comp 918 Springs, 216 224 Z-Cam, Edit, 2nd Hole Mod. Next mod will be a OTRCAI - having it made up now. I'm kind of surprised there hasn't been one of these made up to suit the 05 shape GTO. Maybe there has and I just can't find it.
