Default installed tr224....crappy dyno results

Hey guys comment on this please. I recently installed a tr224/224 563. 112 in my 2002 ws6, at the same I had my LTs, 3500 stall, 3.73s and tunning done to it. It only made 344rwhp sonds like bullshit to me. I figured to have at least 380 to the ground. before I had this work done all i I had was a LM catback, k&n, lid, and a hypertech tuner and it made 315rwhp in my a4. Now thats only 28tish hp with a cam and LTs!!!!!!! Does this not sound right to anyone? Anyone else have this problem?

Somethings not right... I have the same cam with just a few bolt-ons and made 405 in a M6.

3500 stall on a dyno = not so friendly with numbers. You guys should know something this basic. If the verter isn't locked up, it's going to show low numbers.

#'s look ok to me for a stalled A4 with a relatively small cam. Like other's have said, take it to the track and see how it does.

You should have gained that from the headers alone.

That sounds bout right to me, my car is REALLY close to yours. My cam is a 222/228 551/551 on a 115 and with my 3600 stall and 3.73's i made 375/358 locked, and bout 352/339 unlocked. Your setup sounds fine to me. As mentioned the stall and 3.73's are killing your numbers What times are you running, and MPH so i can compare my cars performance to yours

I agree with everyone else...it's the TQ converter throwing off the numbers...

I dont have any times yet, I'm still grinding on the brake calipers. I bought a set of 15x10s and MT 275/50/15 dr's so it would hook. My nitto 555 burn through 3 gears!

Doesn't matter, did you not read the thread ? Unlocked 3500 stall + dyno = poor numbers. At the track will be a different story.

Actually it does, because the Mustang is going to show lower numbers than a Dynojet.

Not relevant, comparing M6 dyno numbers to unlocked stalled A4 dyno numbers is like comparing apples to monkeys.

STALLED A4s AREN'T DYNO FRIENDLY.there was a mustang at an open dyno day last sat. that dynoed at 261rwhp. but he runs 12.0s with a 1.6+ 60'.this is with a 3800stall TQ and 4.10 gears, and a little 302 motor.
i think your numbers are probably on par with your mods.but if your not sure, have somebody else look at the tune.
