Default Livernois Motorsports Stage 2 Heads and Stage 2R Cam Graph

The Final Numbers with Standard Correction and Smoothing was 433.8 rwhp and 390.3 rwtq. It was a very hot and humid day when I was dynoed so I doubt the SAE numbers are that much lower if any. I am pretty happy with the performance. The car pulls very hard, and doesnt drive to bad even with the stock gears. I would like to thank everyone at Livernois Motorsports for doing a great job.

Mods:
Livernois Stage 2 Heads
Stage 2R cam 236/236 .602/.602
LS6 intake manifold
vararam
kooks headers
off road x pipe
b&b prt cat-back
katech ported throttle body
ASP underdrive pulley
Refreshed and Blue printed bottem end
Ram VDS clutch and Heavy Steel flywheel

Let me know what you guys think. Graph is attached at the bottom.

Not too shabby Chris. I got you by 40 rwhp and 40rwtq. With me and a passenger and you running solo the race was very close until 100 mph. We need to run again, but this time clean your air filter out first, leave the tank closer to E, and don't quit when I start pulling ahead of ya. Stay in it to illustrate what 40 extra hp/tq at the wheels really does for ya. Nice smooth looking graph. No spikes just to claim higher hp and tq. You got the real deal Chris, now find me a heavier passenger and come to the race on an empty tank. Just Fn' with ya.

Torque is horrible......Very very peaky setup you have. None the less, nice peak numbers.

Damn, give him a break. He just got his car back after nearly 2 months. Let him enjoy it before you slam him. His graph isn't that peaky. The 90/90 setup and some LG Pro Long Tubes and a retune would definately improve his torque. The only flaw is that major dip he has in the early part. Torque is up then drops, don't know why. Anyways if you saw the video, Chris's car pulls pretty damn good but falls off from 100 mph on. With a jump and 100 lb weight advantage his car walked away until I got to the top of 3rd. Then it was all over. Sorry Chris but you know how it went down.

Last comment, Chris's car is pretty bad *** for a modded 97. Not many of them out there.

Let's see the graph from your torque monster.

Very nice numbers! I know that it pulls a lot harder than the graph would
indicate. That dyno can be a little stingy sometimes.

With a larger cam and hogged out lingenfelter heads(244cc intake runner) I still put down over 300+rwtq @ 3k rpms. As I said, no disrespect to him, but it was just my opinion. Take it with a grain of salt, no need to get so defensive.

the tq would look better if the hp and tq were scaled the same and it wasn't from 2000+. that can make a huge difference in how it is seen. BUT saying that, tq still does look like it suffers a bit down low.

The torque scale is on the right, the hp is on the left. He makes well over 300lb ft at 3000 rpm. I almost fell out of my chair when I first saw the graph. I thought the torque was poor until I realized I was looking at the wrong scale. Glad I didn't say anything.

Back to topic...nice numbers!

I'm lost.....What graph are you looking at ? Because I see a torque spike and then a HUGE dip and then it climbs back up ? I dont see tq over 300 till 3500 rpms

That's my boys car, and I have to agree it has a weird spike, then dips, and then climbs smoothly to 4900 rpms, holds for a few hundred then begins to fall off at 5500 abruptly. Lilbuddy you called that one correctly. I'll have to let Chris post my dynograph for me. I can't believe I haven't posted it up. I'll post the one from Walsh Motorsports after I got back to Michigan from Texas. I can't find the graph from LG. I wish I could so I everyone could see how the same car dyno'd differently after 1200 miles of driving, not to mention better temperatures. 70's in Michigan, 90's in Texas, no humidity to speak of either. Michigan showed 13 more rwhp and 11 more rwtq or Texas' hot weather dyno session. Final #'s 473/431 to the wheels. Maybe the new rear end was fully broken in and a little easier on the dyno. ?????? Can't explain the extra power other then cooler temps, but STD CORRECTION should have equalled that out.

I agree, the guys at Livernois said I was probably making more. But, 434 is not bad at all.

I bet my 1 7/8 kooks headers cause the dip. I probably should of went with the 1 3/4. I was thinking about going with a supercharger when I bought them.

Yea, dont get me wrong bro. You're making great power past 4500. It's just down low that I was looking at. I wasn't trying to take a stab at anyone or anything like that. Allgn, your last post confused the holy **** out of me ROFL. It's all good man

Hey Chris if you would've went with your first intuition and stayed stock heads and cam, headers, and a 6 psi supercharger you would be in the same neighborhood for power but you'd have a wicked little whine to go with that Old School Muscle car tic tic tickity tick tick tack idle of yours. Its probably better this way too, H/C cars are typically faster.
