Default 1999 FRC - Stock - 363/380 - !!!

1999 FRC - Customers car...

Car has a Z06 Ti Exhuast, Fram air filter, 853 casting heads....

We put the car on our dyno last night...Dyno'd 4 other cars during the day and they were all in line with what they should be making.

Put the FRC on there and it made 363/380 with a 12.8-13.1 A/F

WHAT?!

Seemed high...backed it up with a 360/375 and a 370/375. Checked IATs and they were 90-95degrees.

I didn't post the results last night becuase I thought something was up with the dyno...Just re checked all the settings and the runs, everything was spot on. All these runs were on a DynoDynamics 2 wheel, Single retarder...

I have the graphs and will post them at lunch time.

Anyone know what might be done to the car to get these numbers? They seem high, but thats what it made.

It idles like stock (I have a cammed WS6 and we do TONS of LS1 cars...) I can usually tell if anything is done to a motor, but this might have some mega stealth heads on it or something...

Either way - Incredible numbers....Very impressed with the car.

could be a z06 cam since it has z06 exhaust. the z06 cam is stealthy. there could also be some bolt ons like pulley and a ported tb.

Maybe a LPE GT2-3 cam a local FRC has factory 3.90 gears, Ti's, and B&B shorty headers with an 02 Z06 factory H pipe. He turned 365rwhp/352rwtq

I would say that is perfectly inline...90% of the stockish LS1s we dyno are all 300-325...seen some higher, some lower....I know our particular dyno usually hurts peoples feelings.

I am not saying this FRC is a freak....just very very stealthy...I wish I knew what was done...everything looks and sounds STOCK.

Make sure those #'s are SAE corrected...that will account for 10hp/tq if any other correction factors are used.
