2000 SS A4 bolt on's cam results...
Had the car tuned today at Mayhem Motorsports in Raleigh. Car was in for a cam/spring swap, torque converter swap, and tune. The car will be getting duals in the next 2 days as well.
Blue run was with catback on the car. Red run was with open headers.
Needless to say I was extremely happy with the results. I would have been very happy with 380, but was realistically expecting about 370ish.

Not sure about how it feels yet. I should get it back tomorrow afternoon. They are getting some dual exhaust put on it as we speak. 2 1/2" H-pipe with 1 chamber Flows dumped. Should sound wicked! Yeah, I wanted an auto this time cause I actually plan on keeping the car a while and making it track worthy.
You got your cam in yet, or have you not decided on which one yet?

Probably converter spike. No cam in mine yet. I don't move quite as fast as you when it comes to modding. You can't mess with money. I'm getting ready to put my QTP's and y pipe on soon. So far I'm dragging along with free mods, lid, and catback. I'll be there tomorrow just to get some numbers before headers.

Just an update. Got my car back yesterday from Mayhem Motorsports with the dual exhaust now installed. Went to their dyno day today and layed down some new numbers:
404rwhp and 365rwtq (sae)
I would also like to thank PREDATOR-Z for spec'ing out this awesome camshaft!

Thank you, anytime
Good numbers for a A4 cam only with stall (we know A4s are not dynoqueens)
FYI this is a 231/240 112+4LSA custom LSK/XE-R
A good set of 243s stage 1 (stock valved) would bring another ~25 rwhp to the table.

Not sure what the dip was. I didn't experience it on any of the other 3 runs. Probably just one of those freak dyno quirks or something. I'm using the Patriot gold springs.

Base was 325
Add cam + pulley + tune 404
That is 79rwhp, which means a good 60 rwhp on that cam
I think with further fine tuning, you could probably squeeze a few more out of it, maybe another 10 lurking in the shadows.

Did the 90/90 not add any RWHP? Not trying to take anything away from the great numbers.

From what I can read he did 325 with 90/90, I'm sure it contributed a bit more gain with the cam, nonetheless with intake contribution and pulley, that is a gain of 79rwhp (on an A4 that translates into ~ 90 fwhp) with 4000 stall.

What I like about it is look at the trq curve (blue). Between 3600>6000 rpm it is a minimum of 325 ftlbs > 350ftlbs. That is a nice flat curve. Throttle response should be real good.
