Default Dominator 427 - 573 rwhp / 529 rwtq

Just finished a 2001 Corvette today with a 427 Dominator engine and hit the rollers. This is a pump gas SCCA track day car. Darton sleeved LS2, Lunati crank, Compstar rods, Diamond pistons, Rapid LS7 cam (230's duration), touched LS7 heads, LS7 Intake, OEM rockers, Kooks 1-7/8 headers, Borla CB, RAM twin disk.

First pull was 561 rwhp. Final was 573 rwhp / 529 rwtq. SD tuned on 93 octane.

I'll get a dyno sheet up shortly...

Mikey

What approximate compression? With that torque I'm thinking close to 12:1?

Nice numbers for sure!

I like! (Borat voice)

Gives hope to my LS7 (11.25:1 compression) laying down some good numbers in the next few weeks.

Hey.... as the owner if this mild mannered beast-- I have to thank MIKEY for his "TOUCH"..

Took it out for a short jaunt, and cautiously blipped the throttle in 4th gear at 2000 rpms.... and I seriously thought I was in 2nd as the car lurched forward..guess thats what over 450ft lbs of torque at that low rpm feel like!

After driving a few C6 Z06's at the track, I am very happy with my OLD Z06... and will be glad to wave as I go by them.

Thanks Mikey!

Now that NASCAR has finished up at POCONO, SCCA has a two day track event this coming weekend. I will take it up and re-learn my new car. Will drop a post sunday... Anyone need an LS6 with some of MIKEY'S head-cam work???

That engine did 405RWHP and 378 RWTQ- and its complete from top to bottom- ready to go.
