MS4 and bolt-on's through a 9" Finally got around to sliding the camshaft in last weekend, and I went to the dyno yesterday. The car currently has Pacesetter LT's, 2 1/4 true duals through magnaflow mufflers, LS6 intake, and a ported and polished throttle body. My car is a 2000 but was blessed with the 241 heads. Also this was through a 9" with 3.90 gears and 17" DR's with 20PSI in them. Also with the air filter in, and air intake was a whopping 101 degrees, and humidity out the roof!(damn Alabama weather) Well I'll let the graph do the telling... http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...lastscan-1.jpg |
Great numbers man with that rearend and the crappy weather. Now go get some 11sec timeslip. |
Thanks I thought the numbers we're decent. My other 2 pulls were 397, with the same torque. What would be the best way to get the torque numbers up? Without going with a set of heads. |
i think you could have done better. try a dyno without the mufflers and 2 1/4 inch pipes.. maybe headers with 18" extensions. I think its restricting you. |
Yea I am about to go with a y-pipe setup(duals just make it to hard to work on the car). |
ya and i've heard that Walkers dyno spits out low numbers usually. Who did your tuning? Ya it was really hot Saturday. |
Marcus did it. We street tuned it last saturday, and the first pull it showed it was a little lean, but pretty much dead on. Well if thats low numbers I need to go to one that spits out the high ones! lol I was just happy it broke 400. I knew it would be close seeing as how I am going through the 9", and how hot it was. I'm going to try a few little things and go abck around october or november and see what it will do then. |
