If Darton sleeves the block, all LS2/LS7 Gen IV blocks end up really close to being the same thing as the final usable product. Gen IV blocks can be wet or dry sleeved with good results, with dry sleeves being a tad more economical than the MID darton sleeves. The Darton dry sleeves are stronger than the factory LS7 sleeves which are prone to cracking if not careful. The MID sleeves are the strongest option for sleeved aluminum blocks. Talk to Steve at Race Engine Development for the best sleeve work.
will that MID resleeved LS1 block be able to handle forced induction without failure or leaking coolant?
thanks.

Friend of mine got the setup above WITH Stock Catback, stock Intake and stock TB the car drive really close to stock and pulls hard
Made 560rwhp 505rwtq you can go with this setup with ported Intake and tb or the new FAST 102mm I;m sure 580rwhp shouldnt be a problem.

I think if you are comparing MID LS1 to MID Gen IV engines they are probably very comparable for most people. Steve @ RED told me that he prefers to use the LS1 (not LS6) blocks due to rigidity; LS6 and -most- Gen IV blocks have bay-to-bay breathing windows that would take a little structure support away. He would be the best person to discuss the advantages of either and point you in the best direction.

Stock LS7 injectors, but with our altitude we can usually stretch injector capacity a little more than guys at sea level. Jason might remember the duty cycle, any data logs were probably lost long ago due to computer upgrades, HD failures, etc... but I'm sure it's very high!

I agree, I always install the ported TBs/intakes with a tune anyway. Never had any complaints. The C5's with LS2+ TB's sometimes act querky with bigger cams, etc... but anything that comes OEM with the newer TB's seems to do just fine that I've seen.

so do you think strokin the ls7 to a 440 would help with drivablility issues with this cam? also, what results do you think you could see with the new fast combo and the 440 with this cam?
on a side note, do you think you spray a 100 shot on top of this setup but with a 440?
just getting some ideas...
