Default Average numbers? MS4, PRC, A4

Got the new trans in the car, and got it dialed in, what do you think about the numbers?

I understand that stalled A4s aren't dyno queens, but still, with a locked converter, im not sure how stout these numbers are! Lid, MS4 cam, PRC 5.3 heads, Grottyham LT's, Flowmaster 3"-3.5" merge 3.5 catback with a Magnaflow muffler.

Going to the track on the 22nd, predictions?

Ported FAST 90/90 is going on prob by the end of this week as well, so I will update this thread with the new numbers when that goes on. Also, any predictions on what that will gain me?

Thanks for looking

Thats decent power, even with a locked converter, all that means is its not going to up or down shift, you still have the slack of the converter to deal with. I am sure if had it been a m6 you would be closer to 440-450. I also dont see a UD pulley which could be 5-8 hp and with the 90/90 set up, you should gain good as well.

You just gotta bolt it on and try it out.

Numbers look great to me, especially on a DD dyno.

Take her to the track and rip off some mid 11's @ 117-118

cool, so it's right about where it should be then. I'd be real happy with mid 11s! We'll see on the 22nd, after the FAST goes on

Be sure and bring a set of DR's or ET/Streets so that there is no "problems" finding traction.

Good luck man!

I have a nearly identical combo to that, and made 10 less than you with an unlocked Yank PT4000 on a stingy Mustang dyno. It made just shy of 440 unlocked on a DynoJet. I don't have any locked numbers, as IMO that's pointless. And even though I've got the same heads, cam, intake, and headers as you, my HP peaked 100RPM higher and torque peaked 300RPM higher. I have no idea how number friendly a Dyno Dynamics is...

Good numbers man! Is there any dyno proof of people gaining 20-30 RWHP from a FAST? I don't see it. My car makes 441 RWHP H/C 346 through a stalled A4 with a y pipe, I doubt a fast would get me 460-470 RWHP??

Why is it peaking hp at 6200? My ms3 keeps making power through 7000.

For your mods it sounds about right. Any car that makes 420+ with out a 90/90 combo and every bolt on with an A4 is pretty stout to me. With a 6 speed I would not be surprised to see your car make near 450, But not like that matters. It should be very quick at the track.

I have no clue. That's something that makes me wonder.. Hopefully the FAST will let it peak higher? Maybe, maybe not we will see.

This is the SS, my daily driver. The TA is getting a "real" motor

Yea, when you look at it like that, the numbers seem right on. I just wonder why it peaks so damn early

I find it odd that it peaks at 6400 but that's also what TSP claims it should peak at....

the #s seem right on what I would expect for a stalled auto, 6 speed would be in the 450-460 range.

420RWHP combined with a nice PT4000 or PT4200 is usually good for 11.1-11.2@117-120 depending on how well it will 60' and how much weight you have out of the car...

Plus you have to have the driver mod. Not as much as a M6 guy...but it still helps. It's funny 400-420hp on here should be in the 11'2 but I see guys at the track with that much hp running 12.4-12.8s
