408 w/ms4 and 243's?

well im going with a 408 through 99blancoss and an ms4 with a set of stage 1 243 heads. i have LT's, ported/polished TB,ls6 intake, lid, cutouts. What kind of numbers should i see on my 01 ws6 M6 with stock 10 bolt (for now)

SPRAYED 01 Jun 25, 2008 08:34 AM

Id say 480whp on mustang dyno.

I dont think he can get 480rwhp on Mustang dyno with those heads and LS6 Intake.

I say 460rwhp on Dynojet.

Your dynoing at Wongs performance? Thats a stingy dyno... id say around 450-460...(being conservative) Your torque #s will be nice with the 408!
My numbers are from Wongs performance, im running a 232/234 cam with stock 243s on a stock cubed 346

camarokid94 Jun 25, 2008 01:54 PM

lots of factors like CR and all but an honest 450-450 is a easy guess

sidewayz28 Jun 25, 2008 01:59 PM

^ i like it..
i'd have no problem laying down anywhere near 450rwtq on a mustand dyno!
Whens this coming together poncho?

smokinponcho73 Jun 25, 2008 04:29 PM

hopefully in a month i just paid 99blanco saturday and we are waiting on the crank and pistons then its just machining time. Also my CR should be about 11:1 i think he said

BayAreaSS Jun 25, 2008 05:00 PM

I think that combo will put down 450

sidewayz28 Jun 25, 2008 08:07 PM

you'll definitly be choking that motor with the ls6 intake

smok'nZ Jun 25, 2008 08:07 PM

get better heads and headders

cookba Jun 25, 2008 08:23 PM

I would get a used FAST 90/90. or save some money up and get a Mamo ported FAST 92/92. that'll add some nice pony's and raise the potential happiness factor a bit.

smokinponcho73 Jun 26, 2008 05:36 PM

how much power would i amke on a dyno jet and what is the difference

sidewayz28 Jun 26, 2008 05:43 PM

dyno jets are generous.... mustang dynos are stingy...
numbers are numbers....
