Default More ZR1 Dyno Numbers with EFILive Tune and ARH Headers!

The Dyno sheet shows over 40 RWHP and almost 50 RWTQ over the entire power band! Incredible!!

Here is the dyno sheet:

We also tried an 1/34 header which should a significant loss over the larger header. The larger header is the way to go.

We have left a lot more power on the table with the tune as again I only pulled the car a couple times on the dyno with the new ARH exhaust system and left a very conservative tune in it. Thanks again to Chad for getting me the software. The EFI Live software for the 09 ZR1 worked great. I personally drove the car after I tuned the car and I can say this thing runs great!

We have another customer picking up their new ZR1 next week. He is looking for an even more aggressive package. We are working on a custom pulley system and air box, both should really help this beast reach its full potential. I can tell you now that replacing the pulley is not going to be as easy as it is on a Magnusson but we think it will be possible with some creative designing.
Here is the clip taken from the corvette forum. Thanks again to EFILive for getting the software out promptly for the customers.

Very sick, but not unexpected. Should be ready to whoop on some Ford GT's. Since I can't afford either car you'll have to tell me how it goes down, lol.

Like I told the idiots in the other thread. GT500s are making over 700 rwhp and trq with this same blower as it is the ford racing upgrade blower. Give it some time.

Wow !! Basically 500+ rwtq from 2250 - 6250 rpms. Also from 3000 to 4750 its basically flat, talk about smooth power that starts low and holds on for the ride. Where's the fall off, gotta love factory FI on a sports car.

I want to know how high the IATs are and what it would do with a 60 shot?

They are just scratching the surface for findingmore power. Got to love these lsx motors!!! 598rwhp with a (easy safe) tune and exhaust. Then count in a pulley and intake change. Then for s&g's upgrade the rocker ratio and spring. And the should see 630-650rwhp. Then add a cam.....etc.....etc.....etc.... Zr1 kicks *** like its Zo6 brother!!!

That cars potential hasn't even been touched yet. People hate on it now because of the price, but wait until ZR1's are making 650+ rwhp with factory reliability. Won't be many haters after that.

Nice numbers! Something to realize though, GM said the intercooler system is NOT sufficient to add boost at this point. So for someone to perform a pulley swap and add boost, its going to create too much heat. They may not be as modable with the FI as we are used to with 03 Cobras/Ford GT's.

Maybe a different intercooler assembly/blower(intercooler)assembly may get them there. Maybe GM was being too conservative with thier advice to the aftermarket with the intercooler capacity. We will see Im sure.

Id take a C6Z with the MTI blower over the ZR1 anyday.

Carmen said there was a good amount left in it as this is a NEW CAR.
I would be suprised 610-620rwhp same setup with some more miles.

Same car with a PULLEY (once they figure out how to rig one up for it) and tune will make 700# all stock everything else. that will be reliable car that will just need a clutch to hold the power.

Congrats to Vette Doctors on the awesome work and great results. What does anyone think a small shot would do to it? I am guessing like cobra's it would be a 60 shot making almost a 100 rwhp. Just a guess tho.

the 'stock' numbers are deliberately low. Chevy Boss Tom Wallace mentioned we can 'turn it up quite a bit if needed.'

I believe GM put this out there for those that open track their vehicles. Quick bursts here and there are far different than consistant WOT over a 2-4 mile track, over and over.

I think you hit the nail on the head, GM was being VERY conservative
