What do you guys think the outcome will be? The guy mentioned he wanted to run for 100 today. I accepted because I have seen his car run. He maybe beat an auto, vert, Mustang 5.0, by like two cars. He raced Honda's for the rest of the night. Stock single cams lol. He claims to be undefeated.

I have a feeling that I will destroy him. I recently lost my job and this seems like a quick way of making money. What do you guys think? Am I being hustled?

I'm pretty sure if it does go down for money I will run some ET Streets instead of my bald Nittos.

Make sure he doesn't hook up a bottle. Those things can be fast. There is one locally that I've seen pull a bolt on Mach 1 by a couple cars.

I'd want to take a look under the hood and around the car before (and after) the race. I'd definitely get those MTs on the car. When you're racing for money, don't leave anything to chance (especially when you just lost your job). You have no idea what power he makes or what it runs?

well man make sure he wasnt toying with the 5.0 because i ran one with my 02 4.6 gt lots of mods and 100hp shot and lost by 3-4 cars. His was a huge turbo tho. He would've ran around 12.9 to 13.5 on strip but those cars can get in 11s and 12s.

Man...don't get reeled in by those guys. That car is light, and he could have a boost controller in the car with ability to turn up in a few seconds.....be careful there. if he wants to run for money I would be alarmed.

I have had several turbo cars and used to love guys like that....my last 95' Eagle Talon had 3 boost levels. The first would keep up with the new Mustangs, the 3rd would outrun new C6 Z06's.....my 2 cents.

well throwing caution into the wind as I usually do even with my wife trying to talk me out of it...Its only money. But I suppose if you just lost your job it might not be the smartest idea. Once i get my build done and dialed in, nobody will race w/o cash on the line.

No idea. I don't think that car has ever been to the track. From what my ex told me last night, the guy doesn't have a job either. From my understanding, one of the forum guys beat the Miata in a Chevy Luv with a 305. I'll have to confirm though.

I think he is a damn Ricer... probably in the Air Force (no offense to anyone but that is how 95% of Air Force kids are) and he thinks his car is hot ****. There was this asian guy who had a Trans Am. I asked him to race my 04 Cobra from a dig and he said he would for $1000. So I walked up to his car and looked at the all weather 255 tires and said ok lets do this... He was in so much shock. He then stopped me and told me he had a STS Turbo kit on it and I said thats cool I have a supercharger on 13lbs of boost... lets go. He finally backed out by saying that there wasnt anywhere around that he could get traction from. So he left and I followed him with my friends and he punched it 3 times TRYING to get away and black smoke was pouring out of the car. He was a complete tool.
