If it is really stock, you will take him to school. From a dig, the AWD will help him jump out if he launches it right, but you should be passing him not much longer after that.
An exhaust and a tune are usually the first mods done to those subies so if he has the stock exhaust, odds are he is bone stock.
It is the street however and he could have a built motor with a GT35r, blackedout FMIC, and a few other stealthy mods and totally stomp you out. Probably not the case tho .

not sure on the dig or roll race. i have just seen him around town so whatever happens happens. around here we usually go out of town and do dig races.
FYI i have raced and beaten an lt4 TA and 6.0 gto if this helps out your dicisions at all.

totally different care the TA and gto compared to the sti...it could be an absolute sleeper. the awd is going to kill you unless u plan on running on some slicks.

They are only good from a dig when the driver knows how to launch it, otherwise they bog pretty bad. Same goes for you too though, as long as your a decent driver the STi is no contest.
