'94 Camaro vs '03-'04Cobra, is it a race?
The Cobra is known to make 610 RWHP, He is a cocky *** and needs to be knocked off his rocker.
The Camaro has a 406 ci SBC, 11.1 CR, ported Edelbrock rpm heads, RPM air gap intake, 750 Holley race carb, TH350, 3K-3,200 stall, 3.73's and MT E.T. streets. Never been dynoed or to the track yet. The Camaro is on a diet, lost all ac, airbags, has an aluminum dash, and no back seats.
Anyone want to give a HP estimate, 1/4 mile estimate, and whether they should race race?

No clue about the SBC. The Cobra could run anywhere from 9.90's to 11.50's depending on supporting mods. Just quoting "610rwhp" doesn't really tell us anything. Is that 610rwhp through a C4 trans? Is he running a 8.8 or a 9"? Slicks? Without a mod list, there is no way to tell you what he's capable of running.
Assuming the Cobra has the "standard" mods with a stock trans, IRS, no weight savings, etc...it's good for 10.90's on a drag radial with a decent driver. That same car could run bottom 10's with some weight yanked on a tire though.

I know the Cobra is a manual, surely with an upgraded clutch, but I do not believe he has any suspension work. As for tires he has low profile street slicks on stock appearing rims. I know he spins through the middle of third all the time.

Sounds like a mid to low 11 second car to me then. It's all about the setup, not how much power it's making.

So this could turn out to be a race. I found a nearly identical build to the Camaro running 11.2's all day long. I know that I was in the 'camaro the other night and a stock T/A couldn't get away from him and he was not even close to on it.

Well, the Motor from the Camaro is going to be swapped into a lighter car, something in the 2700-2900lb range. Game over for the Cobra if the light car can get traction.
