What would a procharged / intercooled C5 make?
My buddy, who's not really a hands on car guy at all, got his hands on a very nice Procharged C 5 convertible ( model year 00 ), six speed.
I remember when he picked it up the previous owner said that it "should" dyno at over 500 to the wheels with the 8psi pulley. But it was running the 5 psi pulley at the time and he did not mention what it put down on the dyno.
Now the reason I ask is because driving my Trans AM around town it feels faster then his 'vette did ( which is a bit strange right? ).
Actually, we lined up his vette with a 2004 Z06 with only a TR224 cam and DR's and the z06 took it pretty good. ( a couple lengths ).
So what would a bone stock vette, ( only mod being cheap ebay headers ) put down to the wheels at 5psi?
