Default Bolt on LS1 vs Bolt on 3v 4.6

A guy around here has a 07 GT thats full bolt on. My camaro is full bolt on minus a tune and a pulley. Would I have the edge with equal drivers? Hes 4.10 manual and so am I.

I thought bolt ons made a big difference in the 3v. Just once internal stuff came into play it was over. Works for me lol.

Be careful. My buddy has an 06 GT, and he gave me a run for my money from a roll when I had the auto, 224r, headers, and a tune. I think you will edge him out, but if he can drive better than you, maybe not.

Did you have a stall with the cam? A cammed car without a stall would probably lose to a bolt on car on the stock stall. Even you being an a4 with bolt ons you still should have smoked him maybe not as bad but it shouldnt be anything to worry about as long as you go from a good roll spot in your auto.

Ok a bolt on 3v will not hang with a cam ls1 so something wrong there. A bolt on ls1 will beat a bolt on 3v period. If the auto ls1 runs like **** than thats a different story but when my ls1 was stock it wasn't even close. The 3v don't run as good as the 4v
