Default Cam only 99 Z Vs. Cam only 94 Z.

So my buddy claims he will put bus lengths on my car.

He has full bolt ons, a mild cam, and a dyno tune. Put down 350RWHP and 349TQ. Also has a stall and Mickey t ET Streets.

My car is a full bolt on 94 Z with a CC503 and a dyno tune. I also have full BMR suspension. My car supposedly put down 315 but I suspect that was a bit on the low side. Oh I also have a 3600 Vigilante stall and Mickey T ET Streets.

I know I shouldn't win but I honestly don't think it will be bus lengths! What do you guys think?

Your car should run mid to high 12's and he should be high 11's low 12's but a lot depends on who gets out of the hole quicker but a bus length maybe a little to much maybe a few car lengths.

Car ran 12.5 with previous owner on a hot day with no previous runs. Said it could possibly dip into the 11's with a great driver. With my suspension I "should" beat him out of the hole. I'd say he will beat me by a solid 2 car lengths at most. I want to go to the track and run em but he won't go. I think he's scared. lol

Unless he is running a really shitty cam he should rip you pretty hard IMO

It's not a "shitty" cam but it is mild.

What stall does he have? A full bolt on stalled car should run about what he is without an aftermarket cam IMO unless the car is really heavy.

My car ran the 12.5. lol. His car ran around 12.8 without the cam. We both have a Vigilante 3600.

My last 02 Camaro SS Bolt-on car w/ a Yank SS3600 ran 11.80 w/ out a cam change and little weight reduction as in Rims and no front sway bar so i go off that but yes it should be about 2-4 cars he will have on you but i hate when they wont run @ the track were it really counts !!!!!!
