Any chance that anyone knows or has seen my old 2000 hardtop ss in delaware/maryland area? I would really like to find the car. It was NBM hardtop. M6 car. Had a procharger setup on it. Had around 33k on it when traded in. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you

Good luck finding it. I hate/love to see threads like this because it convinces me that if I sell/trade the SS I'll want it back somewhere down to line...

Could you run a carfax and see where it's been registered?

My best friend was the head mechanic there at millsboro auto mart. I rode in and drove this car multiple times while it was on the lot. If I remember correctly the car needed a clutch when it came in, then it was perfect. Unfortunately, and I don't mean to ruin your day, the guy who came and bought the car wrapped it around a telephone pole about 2 months later. I'm pretty sure it was totaled.

This is why I hate these threads. I've learned this lesson the hard way myself. Once you let 'er go, ya gotta forget. I stumbled on my old '96 Camaro completely totaled on Craigslist about a year after I sold it. I wasn't looking for it, but I saw an ad parting out a green '96 and went "I wonder if" and opened it. Broke my heart seeing like that.

Yeah it needed a clutch. Thats a shame. Only had like 33k on it.

Jeez, reading this story, it's like "hey have you seen my dog? He's white with a big brown spot?" "Yea I saw your dog, micheal Vick adopted him and shot him."
