Default *** Cartek Single Turbo 9.32 at 150.36 ***

At today's rental I ran a best of 9.32 at 150.36 with a 1.43 60ft , still on my pump gas tune , ran it a little lighter this time , still a little over 3700lbs , the boost is getting turned up in the next week or so . I really beat on the car today , I was trying to break it and it kept taking it , I must have made a dozen runs , even hot lapped it a few times , my Cartek 402cid motor and RPM 4L80E trans performed like clockwork . Today was the first time I got some consistent seat time with the new set up , we'll see what happens with another 4-5lbs of boost .
As always , the car was driven to and from the track and run in full street trim . I'm looking forward to the next few weeks , I'll keep beating on this car until I get to my goal .

get that 4-5psi in there and I bet 8s will come pretty easily...

how much boost at launch? Bet it'll take a bunch more...that thing didn't even move until 60'

I left at 4lbs of boost , any higher and it would spin , my drag radials are over a year old and have lot's of street driving , new tires going on this week .

Great job Mike. If you get a chance to drive to a track and air them down, then click off an 8 second pass, and drive home, that would be the ultimate!
On tiny drag rdials too.
I think the tires are good for 1.35. You might be able to pull it off.
