any jersey cops in here? I'm considering becoming a cop but don't know where to start the process of becoming one. how much if any school is involved? where or how do i apply (to become a cop). any info really would help

holtz learning center is where i went it is a prep course for the test ...it was a bout 450...but the new list just came out so the test wont be out for a while

yeah what 1low92 said kevin, you need to take civil service test obviously i took it in august for Corrections and they are just starting to call people about it. Just find out when the test will be held and register for it

holtz and bernstein are good courses. Take the civil service test and what ever chief tests you can find.(tests made by the chiefs association) Like Barneget, manchester and toms river pd's.

the new entry level law enforcement test wont be out till 2010. i just took mine last summer. didnt get the chance to take the holts course cuz i came back from iraq a week before my test but oh well i still got veterans pref.
