2009 Great American Sonic Meet! Morgantown, PA - April 11th! This is pulled off of Turboforum.net, I live close to Morgantown so I plan on going to this one as opposed to the Hanover Sonic meet on the same day, anyone else going, I do know last years TST meet was unbelievable!!!!!!! Theres plenty of parking there to becuase of the Wal-mart behind it.

That's right folks! Its time to announce this years Sonic meet. This has been going strong for 2 years and has generated endless hype and fun. We want to continue that success into this year's event! We are expecting well over 500 people to show up from over 50 different forums and clubs to caravan from all over the northeast and decend onto Sonic on April 11th, 2009! In the past, people have caravaned from Chester county, bucks county, montgomery county, Philly, New Jersey, Lancaster county, Reading area, York area and some have even come from farther away than that!
Whats new this year? We have relocated to the Morgantown, PA Sonic Drive-in. After overrunning Ephrata 2 years in a row it was clear that space had become an issue. Morgantown has a lot more of that to offer and should result in much better parking situation. Sonic and the local authorities have been made aware of this so please be on your best behavior and such. We want to continue to represent ourselves well and keep this event going!
When: Saturday April 11th, 2009
Rain/Snow Date: April 18th, 2009
Time: Noon at Sonic
What: Meet and Cruise to Sonic Drive In in MORGANTOWN, PA

this is a good and bad meet. good cause it brings out a ton of cars from all differant makes. bad cause it also brings out all the yahoos that like to carry on and make fools of themselves. allthough last years meet was pretty tame, with the exception of a few burnouts.
im still coming out...cause its allways a good time watching people make fools of themselves.

You'll be out numbered by foreign cars. Especially WRX's. It's a call of what you want to eat, what cars you want to be around and how you want to drive.

kinda sounds like a lot of rice will be out at this meet, even tho im right by the morgantown sonics...

I think the wife and I are going to show up. We haven't been to a large meet up like this in a while. Should be interesting to see what people are doing with the newer model cars. We both like Subaru's too so that's a plus for us :-)
