Yeah it depends on how the car was cared for and how it was driven. Also if you intend to do performance work to the car anyway (heads, cam, internals, etc.) you could probably overlook those miles.

Im looking for a 99-02 ws6 (or SS) m6 with 20k-40k on it. Im looking to spend between 14k and 17k people want SSOOO much money for these cars now, i found an 02 with 20k miles on it, and they wanted 25,9 dropped the price down to 21,995 right now...its in the showroom MINT condition, but i cant bring myself to pay that
but like the guys above said i think its what ure looking to do with it and especially what you're willing to spend, the lower the miles the higher the prices people are asking. (duh i know u all know that...)
good luck
ps- this dealership offered me 1k for my car as a trade in, can u believe that? its in REALLY great condition especially for being a 98 with 135k on it, and they offered me 1k for trade in, i kindly told the guy to go FCK himself

i dont get it....
i paid 9,800 for mine in 2004, 1998 with 84k on her. I thought i was getting a deal. Plus at that point i didnt give a damn i needed to get rid of my 3.4lt
now a 98 with the kinda miles i have are going for like 6,7 or 8 from dealers, private sellers are asking like 5,500 or 6k. Thats what i'd ask if i were selling mine. atleast 5

When it comes to Fbodies they are in a unique position as since until 2010, there has not been a replacement so their value has been artifically inflated since you couldnt buy a RWD non IRS car for under 30k new.
I a came across a well kept, low milage 98, with good options and the color that I like I could pay more then the average.
Something is worth as much as a person is willing to pay for it. I have sold many cars and I have always said. Test pilots and tire kickers are not wanted, nor needed.
