8/7 - New York International Raceway Park (NYIRP) Test and Tune, wanna meet?
I'm gonna head down from Syracuse area to NYIRP next Friday night (8/7) to get some times for the convertible - anybody want to meet up there? Can't beat $13 for the night, and the last time I was there it wasn't very busy, you could make passes like every 10-15 minutes. 6pm-10pm, about 45 minutes south of Rochester.

So - who is gonna be there Friday, and what do your cars look like, so we can make sure to catch each other. I'll be there in the red LT1 convertible, on my stock salad shooters - the narrow Ponteza's hook better the wide Eagles on the vette wheels.

I have a helmet, but no roll-bar. I don't think you need a rollbar unless you're into the 12's - I'll be lucky to punch into the 13's with a heavy, near stock LT1 car.

JP, Well, I've have a older fast78. But bought a new 92/92 didn't make anymore power, or run faster. And had a lot of problems with the shells warping So fast nest me another one, after sawing I intalled it wrong The bottem moving and touching the valley cover (NOT THE bolt heads) But the center of the valley cover bumps (I put a LS6 valley cover for the better PVC) over the bolts that at taller that should hit 1st, and didn't don't when I put a new unran fast on the car. Ive had old rusted butten heads on my car for 3 years now. The new intake they sent me the other day has a diffrent lower shell? whatever I'm gona sell it, there over rated anyway. Im gona put a BBK 85 on, I know I can port them better, there really underrated, and not the "coollest" on the interweb. I'll see, gona dyno it back to back stock with the LS6 today or this weekend if the dyno is free some night.
Last night at NYI was good weather, lots of cars, and down time. Didnt get any passes till later. 60's were down, a bit, watching vids after I see I was spining, and when I took the slicks off they had oil streeks all over the sidewalls. some bike oiled the track, 2 cars puked coolent or oil all down both sides of the return road, and that one big oil puddle in lane 10 everyone had to go around, that was a mess. But all new best times, that is really cool. I was stuck running like 3-4 11.18xs , 1 last fall, and like 3 this spring, I was stuck at 11.18 lol. This was with my stock maff with screen even, ported TB, unported LS6 intake back on. Stock bellow paper filter, And the car went faster
