Hey Anonomous congrats on the NEW BEST!
#4
Thanks guys.
Actually the pass before I went a 1.37 60' and went 10.21 @ 132.xx
Put in a new bottle and went a 1.33 60', but only went 10.20 @ almost 133.
I was like: What happened?
After studying my time slips, the car lost all the gains between the 60' & the 330' because the car was so out of shape. I lost the 4 hundreths I gained and some mph, bringing the car back into the groove.
Then on the back half I picked up more ET & mph again.
That 1.33 should have been a teen at the worst, right on target with a 10.0x or maybe even a 9.9x?
My 1/8th MPH was actually lower on my 1.33 60' pass then my 1.37 60' pass.
So I made up a MPH deficit too.
A clean pass should have been 134mph.
I must have lost a lot, steering the car.
BTW this was all with 750 - 775 psi bottle pressure.
I couldn't get my bottle heater working.
Woulda - shoulda - coulda, all in all, not bad for a 3440, lbs Cartek H&C car with 241 heads,
a little 100 shot and a stock sway bar! LOL.
Just a sway bar away from 9's @ 134 right Rick.

And talk about fast street cars, I think this could be one of the lowest sixty foots ever for an LSX car that also still retains it's working air conditioning.

Seriously...from across a parking lot the car could pass for just another 12 second F-body but then it pulls to the line and clicks off a 1.33 on it's way to consistent, almost hotlapped low 10s, impressive no doubt.
A relatively simple combo that works!

Every pass the 60' got better and the MPH went up.
The AC blows nice and cold.
No short belts and the floor mat still in the car too!

Always have been. I haven't modified the Camaro in about 4 or 5 years.
I just never really leaned on it.
Now that I have the Vette, I wasn't worried about breaking anything and being out for the season.
The car ran like a clock, no problems, wish I had done it sooner.
I have Alex covered too. Stick boy.
I always told him my car was faster. LOL
Plus I have the A/C, so I am definitely cooler.
It may be short lived though, we have to see what his new package does?
I might have to put a 125 shot in it!

I don't know about that, with a sway bar your rear will stay planted nice and won't roll but with out a roll bar I suspect that the rest of the car will twist up real nice. despite the subframes. I would bet we see a nice crinkle in the rear quarter after the first 1.3x 60 with a good sway bar in there.

Nurse Betty runs slicks and training wheels!..
You stick with T-tops and 10 points!
My car was totally DOT and street legal with pump gas, air bag, a stereo, oem carpeting and all.
No crinkles or wrinkles for me. I have a Hard Top.
A bar is not in my future, this is a street car.
If the car had gone straight and not to the right so hard, the ET and MPH would have been much better.
If I had more time I think I could have done some tricks & tuned the suspension a little more. I was playing with the suspension all day. I had the car set up for 1.37 at best. I wasn't ready for the 1.33.
I gotz tricks.

Go ahead and put a sway bar in there, we'll all take bets on which fender will buckle first speed racer.

Wow
The Silver beast was running like a champ the other day I couln't believe how hard you were leaving off the line....Looked rediculus (I mean that in a good way), you were all over the place at launch. Looked like a little lane walk up top to on a few runs. Never the less very impressive runs Stevo. I hope to make it out with the car next time

It's not my best pass, but you get the idea.
I am trying to get my hands on some more video, I know a few people were shooting.
I know Max from Cartek got my best pass, I just have to get my hands on it.
Enjoy.

Bruce,
Thanks for the compliments.
Yeah it was fun having you there, but I wish you were racing too.
Bad luck with the trailer.
We could have run heads up - NA vs. NA.
Did you see I raced Bob, him on the Juice against me NA?
He won one and I won one. It was fun.
Anyway, the Camaro was hooking and booking.
I had a great time.
