So in the end we won round 1 beating a NJ local who races there all the time.
we had to race one of our locals in round 2 who is deadly on the tree.
He went a .014 to our .123 so thats hard to make up that much ground.
8.599 to a 8.604 my cousin lifted thinking the other guy was going to breakout.
Great weekend, had a ton of fun. Met some good people. and this was only my cousins 2nd time running a 8.50 index class and 3rd event in this new car. So i'm proud of him and he did a kick *** job.

Making the field at a race of that caliber is an accomplishment, going a round at an event like that, is a win in my book!
Good job, sounds like yoru cousin just needs some more seat time in the car and he's gonna be right where he needs to be, it's hard to judge at that level wether you're going to go too fast or not... alot of seat time is the only thing that will get ya there.
