Default Race Proven Motorsports Fastest C6Z Build, 4L80E, TTIX,LSX!!!!

Here are a few pics of the build. The car is getting an RPM 4L80E swap, RPM Forged LSX Block, TTIX Twin Turbo Kit, RPM Custom Fuel System. We are hoping this car makes in the neighborhood of 1k rwhp through the auto. If all goes well it should run in the 8.6 range.

Here is a mock up motor we put together why the LSX block is getting built. We put this together so we can tap his oil pan and make the modifications to the subframe where needed ect.

Intercooler shot.

awesome, but why spend all that crazy money on a zo6 to TOTALLY take it apart? NOT a shot at anyone i just think he should have took a regular c6 and did this awesome project and saves probably $30k

Why not just lease the car and then turn it in when you're done?
(That'll get explained in a bit I'm sure....)

Nah Chef I agree with you. I was talking to Fran and said I'd actually prefer an LS2/LS3 based car to build. Problem is this customer, just like the rest of us, started out with something simple. After the cam swap came the nitrous. Then the nitrous wasn't enough and he thought maybe a blower or turbo. Well if you do a turbo you better do a built motor. With a built motor and a power adder you're going to have a tough time shifting, so why not go automatic.

Things avalanche far too quickly with cars. Hell I should've not spent any money on my Cobra and just bought a C6Z.

There are 2 yellow C6Zs at the shop getting TT kits. One yellow C6. One yellow C5Z that just got a blower.

Fran and the guys decided they don't want to work on just Corvettes anymore. Now it's just yellow Corvettes.

Yellow Fever is right.
