For anyone that was curious, the car weighed in at 2640 with full interior and a 4 point cage. Without the cage it would probably be about 2580, but im more than happy where it is at 2640.

Time to get serious!!!!
Picked up Jerry's LS6 heads and ordered a pretty big cam through Fran at RPM. I will be picking up the rest of the parts along with the cam early next week and maybe putting them in the next weekend. Hoping to make well into the 400's once it gets tuned somewhere around the middle of the month, we will see. :-)

Just got it home. Having a weird issue. The temp is normal while driving(about 190 degrees), but when i stop at a light and the car is idling it wants to heat up(about 220). Once i start driving again it drops like a rock. I never had an issue like this before the swap. My temp sensor for my gauge is at the back of the passenger head. Maybe its still working all the air bubbles out of the system? Its a brand new water pump and 180 degree thermostat too.
